La Sultana Marrakech : A spa between eastern and western

The 21 bedrroms and suites are all different and fascinating in their own way combining charm, luxury and modernity.
The spirit of La Sultana resides in the astonishing fluidity of spaces and corridors that create harmony between the riads. There is the Brickwork Riad with swimming pool: approaching by a long corridor, ochre- hued, decorated with a succession of vaults and hangings, we emerge into an Eden of light, the water of the pool turquoise beneath the swaying branches of palm and banana trees. The African riad, 'Riad Sheherazade', on the other hand, is reminiscent of the savannah. There are Senegalese sitting rooms and armchairs made from zebu horn that evoke the well-earned rest after a safari; its suites glorify the animal world.
The cedar riad 'Riad Saadia' magnifies the splendours of imperial Fez. This is the kingdom of wood. Through its omniprésence it colours the atmosphere with a warm glow, which subtly unites the ochre of the walls and the emerald of the zellige tiles. The last, 'Riad Sabah', with its intense red and touch of Majorelle blue, has a Mexican tone.
Clasped like a jewel in the city walls, La Sultana boasts a terrace of 1200 m2.

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the riad category, 11.00 dirhams per people per night for La Sultana Marrakech. That tax is collected by the riads and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 29.00 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night for La Sultana Marrakech.
Reservation and cancellation policies of the riad
In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Sultana Marrakesh will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process :
-Cancellations received 0-1 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100 % of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 2-7 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 70 % of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 8-15 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50 % of total projected room costs.
Cancellations received 16-Day of confirmation day before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 20 % of total projected room costs.
* is considered as a no-show, any client who didn’t arrive before 7.00 am the day following his forecasted arrival.
For Christmas and new year’s bookings every cancellation made 16 days before arrival : 50% of the total price will be charged on the customers’ credit card by the property.
15 Days before the arrival date or no-show : 100 % of the total price will be charged on the customers’ credit card by the property
